Description

Discovery Channel informs, entertains and inspires audiences around the world by showing the diversity and wonder of the world. We enable millions of people to discover and satisfy their curiosity. Discovery is a fascinating mix of stories from different genres, including science and technology, exploration, adventure and history. We also present the people, places and organizations that shape our world today.
We are proud to present the Discovery series optics manufactured by Levenhuk and approved by Discovery.
Levenhuk Discovery Atto Polar Digital Microscope is a biological optical microscope with a 5MP digital camera. It can be used to visualize the world of microbes, as well as save images of specimens as photos or videos. The microscope has a magnification range of 40x to 1000x, which allows for detailed observations of specimens regardless of their transparency level – even during experiments with immersion oil. The kit includes a book full of interesting information about the world of microbes.
Achromatic optical system, magnification range from 40 to 1000 times
⭐ The monocular head can be rotated 360° in the horizontal plane. The head tilt angle of 45° guarantees comfort even during long-term observations. The optical system includes a wide-field eyepiece with 10x magnification with a grid and four achromatic objectives with 4, 10, 40 and 100x magnifications. The objective lenses with 40 and 100x magnifications have a spring mechanism for additional protection. The device has a coarse and fine focus adjustment function.
Dual LED lighting system
⭐ The microscope stage has a mechanical scale, which is perfect for many microtechnics. The lighting system consists of two LED bulbs with adjustable brightness. Together they create upper and lower lighting. The lighting can be powered by batteries (included) or a power supply. (The power supply is also included in the set). The microscope has an Abbe condenser with an iris diaphragm and a light filter holder.
5 Mpix digital camera for taking photos and recording videos
⭐ The 5MP camera gives this model an advantage over the competition. The camera can be installed in the eyepiece tube instead of the eyepiece and then connected to a computer via a USB cable. You must install the software from the included CD. The camera can display images on a computer screen at a resolution of 2592x1944, as well as take photos and record videos. Both images and videos can be processed using basic image processing functions.
The set includes the book "The Invisible World"
⭐ The book "Invisible World" allows for quick learning of microscope operation and acquaints the reader with the diverse world of microorganisms. This book full of interesting information is written in an easy-to-understand language, contains colorful illustrations and discussion of various theories, and also prepares students to apply their knowledge in practice. With this scientific aid, you can conduct simple scientific experiments at home.
